She was once hyper-reactive to neighborhood noises and a loud barking dogs. In this video, we are "taking a breath" and she is learning that it feels better to be calm rather than reactive! Breathing is calming for all animals, dogs included, and I can teach your dog how to make it a behavior. This helps dogs learn to self-regulate and calm themselves down when confronted with things that scare or energize them. And soon those things won't be scary or triggering anymore! Reactive to Relaxed training works! If you want to help your pup, call now! (415) 852-2216

Taco once cowered and darted all over the place when walking out and about in the city. He would try to find places to hide, get tangled on his leash, shake, tremble and drool due to fear and anxiety. Sometimes he would get caught up in his leash and trip his humans. Here he is on a very loud, busy Geary Street on a Saturday afternoon. Buses, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, kids, you name it, it was happening. And look how calm, cool and collected this confident pup is! He is relaxed and enjoying h

Here they are after 6 weeks, sitting calmly and quietly in a noise cafe full of food, other dogs, birds and children! If you want to be able to take your dog anywhere, anytime, call me!
Taco learning polite leash walking skills in a busy park with lots of distractions! Taco used to pull, zig-zag, lunge, bark and basically go ballistic whenever he was on leash. Look at him remaining calm, cool and collected and actually ENJOYING his walk!
This is my 18 year old blind pup, Quinn, before he cross the rainbow bridge in 2021. He is playing with a food puzzle called a Treat & Train. These self-feeders prove very helpful for all sorts of situations in which you need to engage your dog but cannot be right next to him! They also help show a dog that good things happen when something "bad" happens like the doorbell rings! Helpful for door dashing, jumping, alert barking, and actual training. For more information, call me!

Never a good idea to just put a muzzle on your dog's face. This is very intrusive and uncomfortable and they immediately learn to hate the muzzle and want to pull it off. They might succeed! And sometimes muzzles are necessary for everyone's safety. Muzzle training is fast, easy and effective and keeps your dog and everyone else, safe. If your dog would do better with an added layer of protection of a muzzle, call now!

Teaching Odie a Sit Stay for time and distractions while training Harry that the only time the Stand gets a treat is when I ask for it, not when he just does it on his own. Putting an unwanted behavior on a cue like this teaches the pup that offering it gets nothing while the human asking fir it does! Helps reduce unwanted behaviors and limits them to happening only when you ask for them. This can be done with anything! Even jumping on people, as Harry shows!
Sand pits allow dogs to do things they are going to find a way to do ANYWAY: search, dig, find and eat or play! Sand pits give your dog a safe, appropriate place to get their need to dig met without destroying anything! Plus, they use mental & physical energy ! #toypoodles #dogtrainer #dogtraining #lasvegas #sandbox #daycare #dogdaycare

This. is one of my two Chihuahuas, David Chi Roth. (My husband said we could get another dog as long as he got to name him). Dave had come from a life in which he wore an electric collar to the point that the hair on his neck had burned off. In his new no e-collar life, his hair has grown back and his barking has reduced to almost nil And, he has learned to climb the stars and get some snoozes and snuggles.
I can teach your dog to breath! Ok, they already know how to breath BUT I can make it a trick behavior! And not only is this really cute, but it actually helps dogs relax just like with humans! Teaching a dog to "Take a Breath" can help them calm down when over-excited or when feeling afraid.

If it can work on my yappy Chihuahuas, it will work for you!
